Department of Human Nutrition & Dietetics

Overview

Promoting Health Through Nutrition
Good health begins long before illness appears. The food people eat every day influences growth, recovery, disease prevention and overall wellbeing, making nutrition one of the most powerful tools in modern healthcare.
The Department of Human Nutrition & Dietetics at The Ganj Shakar University prepares students for careers that help individuals and communities make informed dietary choices and lead healthier lives. Through the BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics programme, students develop a strong understanding of nutritional science, clinical dietetics, food science, metabolism and public health nutrition.
Supported by qualified faculty members and practical learning opportunities, students gain the knowledge and professional skills to assess nutritional needs, develop evidence-based dietary interventions and promote health across diverse populations.
At the Department of Human Nutrition & Dietetics, we are committed to developing competent, ethical and compassionate nutrition professionals who can improve health outcomes and contribute to healthier communities.
